Words without inflection, tone of voice, confidence, and enthusiasm are like calculus lectures: boring. So I need to correct my calculus by factoring in probability. I say this as a former mathematician and someone who really enjoyed learning calculus. Sometimes there's a long line at the drive-thru. But I realize that just because I loved calculus, doesn't mean that it's important for everyone to learn it. And as I went on, I didn't like algebra II, or analytical geometry, or calculus, either. And sometimes I have bad experiences and don't enjoy the taste. It's possible I won't be that satisfied by my Taco Bell. In college, science majors spend their time learning complicated subjects like Calculus, Physics and Chemistry. Presentation delivered by a master is normally more effective than a transcendent presentation delivered by an amateur. Of course, as I got older, it became harder and harder to find the time to write, because I was also supposed to be doing things like calculus--things that I was also good at. I just took all those courses because I thought that's what you were supposed to do in school.
